Is RAVCOMS EYECON a browser based system?

RAVCOMS EYECON is a client/server application. RAVCOMS products are all premises hosted. An entry level system comprises a dedicated WINDOWS 2000/2003 server connected to a LAN. Clients connect over your LAN to the server to participate in conferences. If users wish to access the server across the Internet then the server must be connected to the internet ideally behind your firewall.

Can I use RAVCOMS EYECON in a meeting room environment?

Yes you can. RAVCOMS EYECON provides an exceptionally cost effective solution for companies who have many executive offices and 6/12 person meeting rooms, or, who need a solution for their Boardroom. In such instances an analogue camera is usually fixed onto a wall or ceiling interfaced to a desktop computer containing a analogue video card and running the Eyecon Client software. Speakers and one or more microphones are added, coupled to echo cancelling unit
(See
Wideband ). The echo cancelling ensures operation without feedback between open microphones and speakers.
