What is the FC101?
Simply put, the FC101 Feedback Canceller is supplied as a rack mounted (1U) device. The FC101 delivers a modular technology solution for professional audio, using new digital technologies to process and eliminate feedback and unwanted noise, without the expense of gain or stability.

What situations warrant the use of the FC101?
Any situation with open microphones in close proximity to speakers, including mobile wireless microphones. The Feedback Canceller automatically adapts to the system and the environment. The FC101 can be used effectively as a single device positioned between the mixer and power amplifier, or, in a synchronised group in a multi-zone scenario with multiple inputs and outputs providing a completely interactive environment.
Applications include Courtrooms, hotels, auditoriums, dedicated video conferencing suites, lecture theatres, sports venues, conference rooms, training rooms, distance learning classrooms and the corporate boardroom.

Why the FC101?
Unlike conventional devices and techniques, the FC101 does not rely on graphic equalisers or notch filters to prevent feedback. The FC101 uses new digital signal processing techniques to cancel feedback, remove unwanted steady-state noise and proactively monitor, single or multi-zone voice reinforcement assuring stability and maintenance of a 10dB gain improvement before feedback. Direct microphone and speaker coupling at a short distance is possible without compromising stability. This adaptive technology even responds to changes to temperature and humidity. Automatic Gain Control, Noise Reduction and Bypass mode can be manually switched in or out to cater for specific requirements from the front panel. In a multi-zone scenario each FC101 can be optionally put in synch with other units to form a stack.
