The HP Compaq CMC (Console Management
Controller) provides out of the box environmental monitoring for rack systems.
- 1U design and installation in standard 19" racks
- Ethernet communications port
- Four analog inputs: two temperature inputs, one humidity input and one voltage monitor for AC mains
- Two programmable fan output power controls
- Eight discrete inputs: four intrusion inputs, one smoke input, one mechanical shock/vibration input and two Aux ports
- Two discrete inputs/outputs (for future use)
- Easy configuration via the Intelligent Rack Manager Lite software, serial port on front panel, SNMP - TCP/IP, user inputs on front panel
- Audible and visual alarm indicators enabling monitoring of up to two racks
- Two additional user programmable alarm outputs are available for optional attachment to local external alarm circuits or devices
